The aim of the meeting is to bring together the diverse strands of geophysical research into climate change, including:

  1. 1. Causes and effects of glaciation and deglaciation

  2. 2. Sea-level change past and present

  3. 3. Evidence of past and future weather patterns

  4. 4. Interplay of tectonics and climate and ocean circulation

  5. 5. Global gas/volatile cycling and climate
    (volcanism, seafloor gas emission)

  6. 6. Extraterrestrial effects on climate

  7. 7. Modelling techniques and results
