About me

After studying for my undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge I went to Penn State University for my PhD where I studied with John Roe. My mathematical interests are on the boundary between analysis and geometry, and my research area, broadly speaking, is coarse geometry. Recent research has included Roe algebra, translation algebras, various coarse (co)homology theories, and CAT(0) cube complexes.

From Penn State I went to Vanderbilt University in Nashville for two years, before moving to Southampton several years ago. In addition to research, my roles here include teaching, undergraduate admissions, and outreach.
