Welcome to the University of Southampton Motor Racing Team (USMRT) homepage. We are a sub-society of SUES, Southampton University Engineering Society. Our aim is to re-build and race the team's '750 Formula' Car.

The car is currently in the middle of a full rebuild and therefore there is a wide range of jobs available, ranging from simple painting jobs, up to machining complex parts that will be used on the car.

The team meets every Wednesday at 14:00 on the University concourse and from there we split into a modelling & design group, and a workshop group.

We aim to keep as much of the work within the society, so we try to make as many components ourself, and model as much as we can computationally ourselves to fully utilise our engineering expertise, and to keep the car as much our own work as possible.
