Combechem

I am part of the Statistics team working on the Combechem project. Combechem is an EPSRC-funded multidisciplinary project involving Chemists, Computer Scientists and Statisticians.

The main focus of Combechem is making use of distributed computing, specifically Grid Computing, to provide chemistry applications, tools and databases, including statistical services. My work involves applying design of experiments (DOE) techniques to specific chemistry experiments, as well as investigating generic DOE methods applicable over a wide variety of combinatorial chemistry experiments. The eventual aim is to develop some methodologies into Grid services.
