information
Arrival
All of the talks
will be taking place in
room 4A of Mathematics Building 54 in Highfield
Campus of
the University of Southampton. The map of
Highfield Campus can be found here and travel directions are here.
For participants coming from overseas, the two closest large airports
are London Heathrow and Gatwick; Southampton has a smaller airport
which operates some flights within UK and Europe.
Accommodation
Please be advised that there may be a shortage of hotel rooms
in the period of the meeting due to the Southampton Boat Show, which is
a major tourist attraction. Therefore we recommend booking your
accommodation as soon as possible.
The nearest hotel to Highfield campus is Highfield
House Hotel,
situated
within a 15-munute walk from the Mathematics building; book by
phone or email and mention the University of Southampton to get the
best rates. Another option is Elizabeth
House Hotel is located within 20-25 minute walk from the
Mathematics building. A comprehensive list of
other hotels and guest houses can be
found
following this link; mentioning the
University of Southampton could give you a discount in some of
them. Of course general search websites such as Booking.com and Trivago could
also prove useful.

Common room and
the dinner
Coffee breaks will be served in the Mathematics Student Centre
(building 56), which you can also use as a common space for the
meeting. The conference dinner will take place on Thursday, September
19, at 19:00 in Ceno
restaurant , located next to the Highfield House Hotel (green
marker). You will be able to choose a starter, a main and a dessert
from the menu here. Note
that
this menu does not include any drinks but you may pay for them
separately.
